Our Story

Walk Me Wear LLC, is a New York company devoted to designing safety outerwear for people who walk their dogs.  We have launched our first product: a charcoal gray baseball cap with silver reflective Scotchlite™ trim and the distinctive Walk Me Wear™ logo.  The cap, Made in USA,  bears the coveted 3M™ Scotchlite™ 360° enhanced visibility tag – enhanced visibility for the wearer at dawn, dusk, or at night and in bad weather conditions.

Johanna Miklós, company owner, began designing the outerwear after she and JoJo, a Collie Greyhound mix she rescued five years ago, narrowly escaped being hit by a car on a dark moonless night in the Hamptons.  “The driver just couldn’t see us,” she recounts as she affectionately strokes the impressive eighty-two pound JoJo.  “He’s the reason I founded Walk Me Wear and I’m hopeful that my company’s reflective caps will allow other pet owners to walk their dogs safely no matter how challenging the light or weather conditions.”
